Our magical mission is brought to life through three awesome (but totally separate!) branches:
🌼 Welcome to Barber Family Farm – where cuddly critters, kind hearts, and community fun come together like the happiest little herd! 🐾💕
Our big-hearted farm is made up of three special (and totally unique!) parts:
🐮 BFFZoo.org – Our snuggly superhero squad! This is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues sweet farm animals and helps them become gentle therapy pals for people who could use a little extra love. Think: warm noses, fuzzy hugs, and healing hooves. 🥹💗
🎠 Backyard Family Farm – We bring the joy to you! Whether it’s a birthday bash or a town fair, we show up with our adorable animal crew for petting zoos and pony rides that are as giggle-worthy as they are educational. 🥳🐑🎉
🌾 Barber Family Farm – This is our home base, where everyday life is filled with sunshine, hay bales, and happy hooves. We welcome the community to come meet the animals, learn, laugh, and make memories on the farm. 🍀🐓
Even though each part of our farm family has its own team, we all work together with one shared goal: giving rescued animals a safe, loving home—and sharing their magic with our two-legged friends. 🥰

🧺Open to Public Saturday and Sunday 11am – 4pm $5.00 entry per person

For everyone’s safety (and to keep the animals cozy), we do close if it’s raining. So be sure to check the skies before you come!
We conduct therapy and field trips Mon thru Fri 9am to 2pm (by appt.)

Beyond Words
There are no words which can express adequately our gratitude for an experience so far outside the realm of the traditional petting zoo our family was able to experience with Barnyard Buddies. The story behind them is so personal, and due to a Veteran who personally discovered the value of healing through a love and commitment to animals in need. This was an invitation to engage with rescues, who in turn are not just part of a hired event, but which are now therapy animals for victims of tragedy, Veterans with PTSD, and chronic pain. All I can say, is that when Herbert and Herbie arrive, ask them about each animal and their story, and you will receive much more then an opportunity to love and hold these beautiful creatures, but to experience a life lesson in selflessness and grace applied in the most unusual of ways.
